The Novel and the Beast:

Oscar Isaac starred in two productions, "Scenes from Marriage" and "Moon Night," directed by Egyptian Mohamed Diab and produced by Marvel.

"Frankenstein" or "The Modern Prometheus" is a novel written in 1818 by English writer Mary Shelley. The story follows the young scientist Victor Frankenstein, who creates a creature through an unconventional scientific experiment.

Shelley started writing the story at 18, and the first edition, published anonymously, was released in London in 1818 when she was 20. Her name appeared in the second edition, published in Paris in 1821.

The novel takes the form of exchanged letters between two brothers in the 18th century. The main character, Robert Walton, is a failed writer who decides to explore the North Pole to expand scientific knowledge.

During the flight, Walton's crew spots a sled driven by a giant person. A few hours later, they rescue a lean, semi-frozen man named Victor Frankenstein, who was chasing the giant.

As Frankenstein recovers, he shares the story of the monster he created.

The novel has been adapted into many films, and the monster is often referred to as "Frankenstein," instead of its creator, Victor Frankenstein.
